Kansas March of Dimes
Dear Kansas FBLA,
For the 2006-2007 March of Dimes state project, I propose to start District Wars among Kansas. The purpose of the District Wars is to entice Kansas chapter members to become more active with the March of Dimes by learning about its history and purpose, raising money for the foundation, and spreading awareness throughout the communities of Kansas. For two months, each chapter will compete within their specified district to win a MoD Battle. The chapter that gets the most members involved and receives the best results will be declared the winner of that particular MoD Battle. The winner will be determined by a point system related to each battle. The Battles will include a MoD Scavenger Hunt in December and a MoD Fundraiser Battle in January. The chapter that receives the most points throughout the two MoD Battles will be declared the winner within the respective districts. Also, the chapter that accumulates the most points in the entire state will be recognized at the Kansas State Leadership Conference. In addition, by combining the chapters’ scores within each district, the district with the most overall points by the Kansas State Leadership Conference will be declared the winner of the District Wars.
Sincerely,
Rachelle Crouse, State Secretary
